What you need
A pencil, an eraser and a sheet of paper are enough. Draw lightly at first, then trace the lines you want to keep when your bear is finished.
Step 1 of 6
Draw the bear's head
Begin with one large circle. This becomes the bear's head and gives you a simple base for the ears and muzzle.

Your drawing after step 1 Step 2 of 6
Add two round ears
Draw one small round ear on each side of the top of the head. Let the head circle overlap their lower edges.

Your drawing after step 2 Step 3 of 6
Draw the bear's face
Add two round eyes and an oval muzzle. Place a dark nose inside the muzzle and use short curves for the mouth.

Your drawing after step 3 Step 4 of 6
Add the bear's oval body
Draw a large upright oval below the head. Overlap it slightly to create a soft, seated body shape.

Your drawing after step 4 Step 5 of 6
Draw the arms and legs
Add a long rounded arm on each side and two large oval feet at the bottom. Keep all four shapes close to the body.

Your drawing after step 5 Step 6 of 6
Finish with simple paw details
Add one curved pad line inside each foot and two short belly lines. These few details complete the bear without making it complicated.

Your drawing after step 6
That's it! You have drawn a bear.
Trace your favorite lines a little darker, erase any unwanted pencil marks and add color if you would like.
