What you need
A pencil, an eraser and a sheet of paper are enough. Draw lightly at first, then trace the lines you want to keep when your malinois is finished.

Draw the Malinois head
Begin with one circle for the head. Leave room in front for the long muzzle and behind for the athletic body.

Add the long muzzle and body
Draw a tapered muzzle extending from the head and a large horizontal oval behind it. Add a small dark nose at the tip.

Draw four athletic legs
Add four straight, slim legs beneath the body. Bend the back legs slightly and round each paw.

Add pointed ears and a raised tail
Draw two tall triangular ears on the head and a long tail curving upward behind the body.

Draw the dark face markings
Add one visible eye, darken the muzzle and shade the inner ears. Include a short cheek line to define the head.

Finish with chest and neck details
Add a few pointed lines around the neck and chest to suggest the Malinois's short layered coat. Keep the body smooth.
